At Armadio by Delia, every piece tells a story — and we make sure it's an honest one. Buying pre-loved designer clothing, footwear, and accessories online requires trust, and we take that responsibility seriously.
How We Authenticate Every Piece
Our full authentication process is applied to high-end luxury pieces — including designer handbags, footwear, and premium apparel from heritage brands. For these items, our review includes:
- Label and hardware inspection — We examine brand labels, stitching, font, logo placement, and hardware finishes against known authentic references.
- Construction and materials review — Authentic designer pieces have consistent craftsmanship. We assess seam quality, lining, fabric weight, and finishing details.
- Provenance and documentation — Where available, we request original receipts, dust bags, authenticity cards, or certificates of authenticity from consignors.
- Comparative research — For high-value or hard-to-verify pieces, we cross-reference with trusted authentication databases and resources.
If we cannot confidently authenticate a luxury piece, it is not accepted — full stop.
Condition Grading
Every item is graded honestly and described in detail. We use the following condition scale:
| Grade | What It Means |
|---|---|
| New with Tags (NWT) | Unworn, original tags attached. |
| New without Tags (NWOT) | Unworn or tried on once, no tags. No visible signs of wear. |
| Excellent | Minimal signs of wear. Looks nearly new. Any imperfections are noted. |
| Very Good | Light wear consistent with careful use. Minor details noted (e.g., light creasing, faint marks). |
| Good | Visible signs of wear that do not affect wearability. All imperfections are clearly described and photographed. |
What's Included With Your Purchase
Each luxury piece ships with:
- A detailed condition description matching the listing
- Any original accessories received from the consignor (dust bags, authenticity cards, extra buttons, etc.)
- Careful packaging to protect the item in transit

We are a curated boutique, not a marketplace. Every item is personally reviewed and listed by us. If an item is ever found to be inauthentic after purchase, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
